SeaVuria's mission is to make a difference in the lives of students in Kenya and the United States through STEM opportunities and women empowerment that inspire them to be global citizens.

Scholarships
Supporting education equality in the community
At SeaVuria, we are dedicated to continuing our efforts in addressing equitable education opportunities for all students in Taita-Taveta. We do this by collecting funds for both high school and university scholarships, and as important, for creating sustainable friendships of support across the globe. Advocacy is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area.
STEM Education
Improving science teaching methods
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with STEM Education. Education is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact. We host professional learning for teachers to help improve teaching strategies. We host opportunities for students to engage in authentic, relevant STEM learning that helps to mitigate community problems.
Technology
Providing tools and resources for teachers
We strive to support the Taita-Taveta region with technological tools to help the students and teachers function in a global digital world. We provide the schools with access to internet and tools such as computers, LCD projectors, and document cameras to resource the tools needed to enter the digital age. We believe with access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential.
